With a foundation built on integrity, expertise, and innovation, O.S has evolved from a modest beginning into a trusted partner for major offshore projects across Vietnam and the surrounding region. Our journey reflects not only the growth of our capabilities, but also the enduring trust placed in us by our clients, partners, and workforce.

This is the story of our development — from our first workshop in 2009 to becoming a recognized provider of certified fabrication, testing, and inspection services — shaped by a clear mission:

Establishment and Early Foundation (2009 – 2012)

O.S Offshore Services Co., Ltd. was officially established in March 2009, with a clear mission to deliver reliable, high-quality engineering and inspection services to the offshore oilfield sector. Despite being a new entrant at the time, the company swiftly assembled a team of highly skilled professionals with extensive experience gained from leading fabrication and inspection firms. From the beginning, O.S focused on providing a core range of services including fabrication, repair, inspection, and load testing to meet the growing demands of oil and gas service companies. Our founding philosophy has always been centered on customer satisfaction, operational safety, and continuous improvement.
OS Offshore - Load Testing & Certification

Expansion and Service Diversification (2013 – 2017)

Driven by increasing market demand, O.S began expanding its technical capabilities and service portfolio. This included: Introduction of Design and Fabrication services for lifting gear and structural components Launch of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services including MPI, UT, and visual inspections Deployment of certified load testing solutions for offshore lifting appliances During this phase, the company also began implementing structured training programs to continuously upgrade technical skills, adopt modernized processes, and reduce production and material costs — with the goal of enhancing client value and turnaround time.

Strategic Facility Relocation and Technology Modernization (2018 – 2020)

In response to increased demand and higher production standards, O.S relocated its facility from VCP Port to its current strategic location opposite PTSC Downstream Port. This move allowed for: Expanded workshop capacity Better access to marine logistics Improved handling of large-scale offshore fabrication and inspection projects With this upgrade, O.S successfully launched several key services such as: Design and manufacturing of offshore containers according to DNV 2.7-1 / BS EN 12079 Full inspection of Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) and Drill String tools (OCTG) Sandblasting and painting maintenance for offshore structures Pressure and hydraulic testing for critical oilfield equipment

Digitalization, Rental Services & Client Growth (2021 – 2024)

By 2021, O.S Offshore Services strengthened its management systems and quality assurance programs. In parallel, the company developed its Offshore Container Rental division, offering a fleet of DNV-certified containers, toolboxes, reefers, chemical storage, and workshop units — meeting the operational needs of rigs, platforms, and marine vessels. Thanks to its reputation for reliability, professionalism, and safety compliance, O.S earned the trust of a diverse client base, including EPC contractors, drilling operators, and offshore service providers. The company also enhanced partnerships with third-party certification bodies like DNV, ensuring every service meets the highest industry standards.

As of 2025, O.S Offshore Services Co., Ltd. stands as a trusted and established provider in Vietnam’s offshore service sector. With over 15 years of consistent growth, we offer a complete range of specialized services: Offshore design and fabrication Load testing and lifting certification NDT and inspection Offshore container rental Maintenance and refurbishment of offshore equipment Our team of engineers, inspectors, designers, and technical staff continues to innovate and deliver safe, cost-effective, and customized solutions for both onshore and offshore projects.
